This morning, we did some singing and drumming. We reviewed our new Dictée words and their meanings, then acted them out and practised printing them in our Dictée notebooks. We did some reading and writing phonics activities on small whiteboards and also practised printing the letter P. We visited the Gym with students in Mme Walman’s class, where we practised our soccer skills in different stations. In Math, we used geoboards to review the names of 2-D shapes. We began learning how to play Chess - we learned how to set up the chess board and learned how the pawn moves, then played a game with a partner using only the pawns.
