This morning, we reviewed our Dictée words before writing them in our agendas. We wrote and illustrated sentences using a bank of "food" vocabulary. In Social Studies, we read the book "Un jour je serai" and talked about some of the different jobs in the community and how they help people. In Math, we played a game with a partner using Power of Ten cards to practise our "friendly" facts to 10. We also practised them independently in our math booklets. We played a game of reading bingo. This afternoon, we ran around the basketball court and played at the intermediate playground with students in Mme Walman's class. We read independently while I read with individual students. In Chess, we learned how the Bishop moves, then played a match with a partner using all the chess pieces except the Knight.
