I was away today - many thanks to Mme Prendergast for teaching the class. The students reviewed our new Dictée words and their meanings, then acted them out and practised printing them in their Dictée notebooks. They read our new phonics sheet as a whole group and with a partner. They visited the Gym with students in Mme Walman’s class, where they worked on their hockey skills in different stations. In Math, they worked on their “friendly facts” to 10. They did a desk clean up and read the story “Les glaciers”. This afternoon, they had Music with Ms. Harvey. They wrote and illustrated sentences using a bank of winter words.
