We visited the Gym this morning, where we practised our hockey skills (dribbling, passing, trapping) in different stations with students in Mme Walman's class. We reviewed our new Dictée words and their meanings, then acted them out and practised printing them in our Dictée notebooks. We did a desk clean-up and practised tidying our work areas. We wrote and illustrated sentences using hockey vocabulary. In Math, we made structures with a partner using 3-D shapes. This afternoon, we visited Mme Walman's class, where we read a story and watched a short video about strategies for dealing with worries. We played Chess with a partner and learned how the King moves, then played a match using only pawns and the King.
