I was away today - many thanks to Mme Derman for teaching the class. The students talked about the community in Social Studies and looked at pictures of the community. They discussed different types of people who help in the community and their jobs. Students discussed some jobs they might be interested in doing when they are older and drew pictures of these professions. In Math, they worked on identifying numbers using arrangements of dots. They did some reading with their reading "tutors" from Mme DiGeso's class. This afternoon, they played outside at the primary playground for their outdoor Gym time. They had Music with Ms. Harvey and played in Centres. They read the book "Les animaux de l'Antarctique".
