This morning, we reviewed our new Dictée words and their meanings, then acted them out and practised printing them in our Dictée notebooks. We did a desk clean-up and practised reading our phonics sheet as a class and independently. We visited the Gym with students in Mme Walman’s class, where we practised our soccer skills (dribbling, passing) in different stations. We worked on our literacy, art and math skills at different stations in the class while I read with a group of students at their reading level. In Math, we worked on identifying 3-D shapes in our environment. This afternoon, we had Music with Ms. Harvey. We played Chess with a partner and learned how the King moves, then played a game using only the pawns and King. We read the story “Le chien de neige”.
