This morning, we did some singing and drumming and had a special visit from Mrs. K, who talked to us about what she has been doing. We practised reading our phonics sheets with a partner. We had our class photo taken this morning in the courtyard. We visited the Library for a story and book exchange with Mme Coons. We worked on writing stories with a beginning, middle and end. In Math, we worked on measuring the length of objects using non-standard units (popsicle sticks). This afternoon, we ran around the field and played outside for our outdoor Gym time. We read the story "Pense à ta sécurité" and talked about what to do in different emergency situations. We looked at different illustrations and sorted objects into "safe" and "unsafe".
