This morning, we worked some more on the "stories" we wrote on Tuesday and tried to add what happened next in the story. In Math, we worked on identifying numbers that are greater than or less than. After recess, we visited the Library for a book exchange and story with Mme Coons. We practised our literacy, math and art skills at different stations while I read with a group of students at their reading level. In Social Studies, we watched part of a video of last year's drgaon parade in Chinatown. We talked about the different animal years and did a vocabulary exercise using these animal words. This afternoon, we had a special visit from the Sierra Club, who talked to us about different life cycles and who took us outside to observe nature using binoculars or magnifying glasses. We read the story "Les animaux de l'Arctique".
