This morning, we reviewed our Dictée words and wrote and illustrated sentences using some of these words. We read our phonics sheet as a class and then with a partner. We read the story "La Saint Valentin de Pat le Chat". We read independently while I read with individual students. In Math, we played a game with a partner to practise our "friendly" facts to 10. We had Gym with Mr. G. as Mme Mottishaw was away. This afternoon, in Art, we decorated paper bags that will house our Valentine's Day cards. We reviewed some of our phonics sounds and practised printing the letter W in our printing booklets.
