This morning, we did some independent reading and then chatted about our weekends. In Health Education, we sorted our lunchkits according to different categories (fruits and vegetables, whole grains, proteins, etc.). We practised our Dictée words by completing a word search with the words. We practised reading our phonics-based reading sheet. After recess, we wrote and illustrated sentences using some of the Dictée words. We had Gym with Mme Mottishaw. This afternoon, in Art, we talked about the colour wheel and "cool" colours. We looked at some examples of art that just use cool colours. We made some winter tree scenes using white, purple and blue tempera paints to create our own tints - we will finish our projects tomorrow. We read the story "Pas d'école".
