This morning, we had a special visit from Mme Brittany, who taught us some math strategies for counting. We worked on our self-evaluations and wrote about ways in which we show respect at school. We visited Mme DiGeso's class, where we watched her Grade 3 students perform a French play. We had a special presentation from Barbara K., a class parent, who talked to us about her job as a child psychologist and who also spoke about anxiety and why it happens. We had Gym with Mr. C. as Mme Mottishaw was away. This afternoon, we wrote and illustrated stories using some of our Dictée words. We also reviewed our Dictée words and acted them out. In Social Studies, we talked about Hannukah and played an adapted dreidel game with a partner. We read the story "Corbeau et la boite".
