I was away today - many thanks to Mme Derman for teaching the class. The students reviewed our new Dictée words and their meanings, then practised printing them in their Dictée booklets. They wrote and illustrated sentences using a bank of winter words. In Science, they discussed some of the signs of winter, then wrote about some of these winter signs in their Science notebooks. In Math, they worked on subtraction using manipulatives. This afternoon, they played outside at the primary playground for their outdoor Gym time. They made snowmen collages using chalk and construction paper. They read the story "Je pars".
