This morning, we reviewed our Dictee words and wrote and illustrated sentences using some of our Dictee words. We practised reading some of our sight words and identifying phonics sounds, then practised printing the letter K in our printing booklets. We worked on our math, reading, writing and art skills in different stations while I read with a group of students at their reading level. In Math, we worked on identifying 3-D shapes (sphere, cone, cylinder, etc.). We had Gym with Mme Mottishaw before lunch. This afternoon, we practised reading a phonics reader with the sounds "en" and "an" in it. We read independently while I read with individual students. We played a game of shapes bingo and read the story "Jouer avec les solides".
