This morning, we talked about our weekends. We reviewed our Dictée words and brainstormed other words with the “in” sound, then recorded these words in our Dictée notebooks and also completed a word search using our Dictée words. We had a short assembly with primary French Immersion students - we talked about the bear and the gift of courage and had some students present their ideas around this teaching. We read independently while I read with individual students. In Math, we wrote equations together that totalled the numbers 6 and 5. We also played number bingo to practised our numbers to 20. This afternoon, we played outside at the primary playground with students in Mme Walman’s class. We read the book “L’hiver” and also practised printing the letter H in our printing booklets.
