This morning, we talked about our weekends. We reviewed our Dictée words, then brainstormed other words with the "en" sound and recorded these words in our Dictée notebooks and also completed a word search using our Dictée words. In Math, we talked about the different characteristics of 2-D shapes and located 2-D shapes in the classroom. We worked on our art, chess, literacy and math/technology skills in different stations. We did some singing and drumming, then played outside at the primary playground for our outdoor Gym time. We had Music with Ms. Harvey this afternoon, then practised reading our phonics-based reading sheet with a partner.
