This morning, we reviewed our Dictée words before writing them in our agendas. We did some reading with our buddies from Mme DiGeso’s class and also played a game of reading bingo with them. In Social Studies, we read the story “Qu’est-ce que c’est une communauté?”. We looked at examples of services in our community, then drew pictures of some of our favourite places in the community. In Chess, we leaned how the Rook moves, then played a game with a partner using the pawns, King, Queen, and Rook. This afternoon, we played outside at the primary playground with students in Mme Walman’s class for our outdoor Gym time. In Science, we talked about states of matter, then did an experiment in small groups where we tested if different solids would dissolve in water. In Math, we worked on our -2 subtraction facts.
