I was away today - many thanks to Mme Prendergast for teaching the class. Students reviewed their Dictée words before writing them in their agendas. They wrote and illustrated sentences using a bank of winter vocabulary words. In Math, they worked on identifying 2-D and 3-D shapes. In Science, they learned about the different states of matter (solids, liquids and gases) and drew examples of these states of matter in their Science notebooks. In Health Education, they talked about different types of food and the importance of having a healthy diet. They wrote about and illustrated the different kinds of healthy foods that they like to eat. They played outside for their outdoor Gym time and read the book "La nourriture".
