This morning, we reviewed our Dictée words before writing them in our agendas. We wrote and illustrated sentences using a bank of winter vocabulary words. We had a special visit from Nyah and Fiona, two Grade 5 students and members of the Rainbow Club, who read the story "Worm Loves Worm" to the class. In Math, we worked on subtracting numbers using manipulatives. We practised reading some of our phonics booklets. I was away at a workshop this afternoon - many thanks to M. Josh for teaching the class. The students played outside at the primary playground for their outdoor Gym time, then did some silent reading. They reviewed some holiday vocabulary and illustrated some word banks. They read the story "Je pars".
