This morning, we reviewed our new Dictée words and their meanings, then acted them out and practised printing them in our Dictée notebooks. We did a desk clean-up and practised some reading as a whole class and with a partner. We ran around the field and played outside with students in Mme Walman’s class for our outdoor Gym time as the Gym was closed today due to picture day. We had our individual photos taken today. In Math, we worked on some rhythm patterns. This afternoon, we had Music with Ms. Harvey. In Social Studies, we talked about things we are good at and things we like to do. We drew some of our favourite things in our Social Studies notebooks. In Health Education, we looked at pictures of children showing different emotions and talked about what clues we see in the body language that tell us what they are feeling. We played a game where a student acted out a feeling and the class tried to guess which emotion it was. We read the book “Chacun son tour”.
