This morning, we reviewed our new Dictée words and their meanings, then acted them out and practised printing them in our Dictée notebooks. We did a desk clean-up and practised reading our new phonics reading sheet. We visited the Gym with students in Mme Walman’s class, where we practised our basketball and skipping skills in different stations. In Chess, we reviewed castling and learned about a special move called “en passant”. We read the story “Pat le chaton et la licorne”. This afternoon, we had Music with Ms. Harvey. We did some singing with retired Doncaster teacher Mme Cohen with students in Mme DiGeso’s class.
