This morning, we talked a bit about autumn. We reviewed our Dictée words, then completed a word search using the words in the Dictée. We practised reading our "Je lis les sons de la Dictée" as a class and independently. We read a story about the letter U, then practised doing some phonics reading and writing activities and practised printing this letter in our printing booklets. In Math, we traced the numbers 9 and 10. We talked about Residential Schools and read the story "Le chandail orange de Phyllis" and talked about Orange Shirt Day. We did some singing and drumming with students in Mme DiGeso's Grade 3 class. This afternoon, we ran around the field and played outside for our outdoor Gym time. In Art, we decorated and cut out small hand shapes to decorate our "Chaque enfant compte" heart.
