This morning, we chatted about our weekends. We did some singing and drumming and talked about Earth Day. We discussed some things we could do to help the planet, then wrote and illustrated pages for a class big book about things we will do to help the Earth. We ran around the field and played outside for our outdoor Gym period. In Science, we went outside and drew pictures of living and non-living things. We read the book "La journée de la Terre". We practised our reading with students in Mme DiGeso's class. This afternoon, in Math, we worked on our "Doubles +1" addition facts by playing a dice game with a partner. We had Music with Ms. Harvey. We had a special visit from Grade 5 students who talked to us about Earth Day and things that the Climate Club is doing to help the planet.
