This morning, we had a special presentation by Reed’s sister, who prepared a slideshow about Diwali that she shared with us. Reed and her family shared some Diwali treats with us. We drew a picture of some Diwali vocabulary and wrote a sentence to go with it in our Social Studies notebooks. We reviewed our Dictée words and completed a word search with our Dictée words. We started buddy reading with students in Mme DiGeso’s class - we read our phonics sheet with them and also played a reading dice game. This afternoon, we ran around the field and played outside with students in Mme Walman’s class. We practised singing our Halloween songs. We read the story “Au revoir Hippo”.
