This morning, we reviewed our Dictée words before writing them in our agendas. We did a desk clean-up and practised reading a phonics reader as a class. We practised our Halloween songs with students in Mme Walman's class. In Math, we worked on identifying arrangements of objects to 10. We ran around the field and worked on our ball skills (throwing, rolling, catching) with students in Mme Walman's class for our outdoor Gym time. This afternoon, in Health Education, we looked at different situation cards and discussed strategies for tuning out distractions. We read independently while I read with individual students. In Science, we read the book "C'est l'automne" and discussed some of the signs of Fall. We brainstormed things we see in the Fall and recorded some of these signs of the season in our Science notebooks.
