La Division 15

This morning, we reviewed our Dictée words before writing them in our agendas. We practised sounding out words in our writing using small chalkboards. In Health Education, we read the story “J’ai grandi” and talked about different ways to stay healthy. We discussed our favourite types of exercise, then drew pictures of these physical activities in our Socials notebooks. In Math, we worked on identifying the relative position of objects. This morning, we did some singing and drumming. We visited the Library for a story and book exchange with Mme Coons. We had a surprise fire drill before recess. We had Music with Ms. Harvey after recess and shared some items from home during Show and Tell. In Math, we worked on identifying “left” and “right”. This morning, we did some singing and drumming. We wrote stories using our Dictée words. We did lots of sharing during "Montre et raconte". In Math, we worked on positional vocabulary (sur/sous/etc.). We had Gym with Mme Mottishaw. This afternoon, we made some snowman mobiles. In Science, we read the story "L'hibernation" and talked about what some of the animals and plants do at this time of year.

This morning, we talked about our holidays. We discussed some of our favourite holiday presents, then wrote a class book about our favourite presents. We did some sharing during "Montre et raconte" (Show and Tell). We practised our reading and played a reading game with our Grade 3 buddies from Mme DiGeso's class. We reviewed our Dictée words and completed a word search using some of these words. This afternoon, we played outside at the primary playground with students in Mme
